The idea of deactivating your firewall can be daunting and worrying to do. That being said, we are only going to be temporarily deactivating it to check whether or not the issue is because of your Mac blocking a Viber connection.
Last part, we discussed "how to restore the viber chat history from iPhone without backup". What if you are an Android phone user? How to restore Viber chat from Android phone? Don't worry! iMyFone has another advanced tool to help you recover them - iMyFone D-Back for Android. Its robust features can help you get files back without root. Let's see main features of the program.

You may not have to do anything that drastic. Try deleting the viber app, then restart your phone before adding it back. Just a normal restart or a forced restart (neither will result in any data loss)
After updating my Mac to High Sierra 10.13.6, my Caps lock and spacebar don't function appropriately any more. When I turn on the Caps lock, type any single word and then press spacebar, the spacebar doesn't provide any space. If I continue to type another word, the previous word is deleted. Except Word, I encounter the same problem in every other applications, including Chrome, Viber, PDF and so one. Does anyone have any ideas about solving this?
Hi Tom, thanks vey much. You solved half of my problem. I don't have US, but do have Australian and Vietnamese input sources. Vietnamese has a Latin character set, quite similar to Australian English, so there's no option of "use caps lock to switch input sources" for me to choose. (I did a quick google search and guess we only have that option if there are at least two different character sets activated.) Caps Lock and Spacebar still function so wrongly when I switch to Vietnamese, but things seem to be good with Australian source. Maybe my temporary solution is sticking to Australian source when using Caps Lock, but if anyone could help me find other possibilities to fix this error, it would be really much appreciated!!
With Content & Privacy Restrictions in Screen Time, you can block or limit specific apps and features on your child's device. You can also restrict the settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch for explicit content, purchases and downloads, and privacy.
Make sure to choose a passcode that's different from the passcode that you use to unlock your device. To change or turn off the passcode on your child's device, tap Settings > Screen Time > [your child's name]. Then tap Change Screen Time Passcode or Turn Off Screen Time Passcode, and authenticate the change with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.
iOS and iPadOS can automatically filter website content to limit access to adult content in Safari and other apps on your device. You can also add specific websites to an approved or blocked list, or you can limit access to only approved websites. Follow these steps:
You should know that the iPhone data recovery tool not only support to recover viber messages, but also a bunch of other files including text messages, WhatsApp messages, contacts, notes and more. If you happen to lose iPhone data, just feel free to download iPhone data recovery tool.
All communications can benefit from an additional layer of security through account verification. Users will see a color-coded lock on the right hand side of the screen indicating the level of security:
Mac users have long been able to use various tricks to lock the screen of their computers, but with macOS Big Sur, Catalina, Mojave (and anything from High Sierra 10.13.x onward), a simpler and faster option is now available on the Mac with an official Lock Screen feature.
With the new Lock Screen feature, you can instantly lock down a Mac through a system-wide menu option, or with a keyboard shortcut. Once Lock Screen has been enabled, a proper user login and password must be entered before the Mac can be accessed again. This is an excellent privacy and security feature, and one that Mac users should familiarize themselves with if they frequently use their computers in a public setting, be it at work, school, home, or anywhere else they may want to password protect their computer to prevent unwanted access.
To reiterate, these dedicated Lock Screen keyboard shortcut and menu options are only available to the latest versions of macOS system software (10.13+), but that does not mean that users of prior Mac OS software releases are left in the dark or without similar options to quickly activate a password screen to lock down a Mac. In fact, all versions of Mac OS can enable a lock screen associated with the Mac Screen Saver feature as described here that can be activated by keystroke or by a mouse corner. Another option is to use an optional Screen Lock button on the Touch Bar of MacBook Pro if you have one of those Macs.
More stupid downgraded functions that some idiot at Apple who should probably be flipping burgers supervised thinks is better, despite it being MORE GESTURES than just setting a hot corner to lock the computer.
Locking the screen just locks the computer screen, requiring a password before it can be accessed or used again. But when locked it keeps the Mac awake with all apps running, internet connectivity enabled for things like mail checking or websites reloading, etc. It uses the normal level of power, the Mac is left powered on as usual, and a quick unlock gets you right back to your computing activities.
In order to register on Viber, you need to provide you phone number. Once registered, you are able to bypass your mobile carrier and start making calls and sending messages directly with Viber. You can also call non-Viber landline and mobile numbers with the Viber Out feature. That being said, a slight downside to Viber is that it is blocked in many countries.
The great thing about this Viber security feature is that you know all your communications with the Trusted Contacts is fully encrypted and secure. You can also choose to block messages from anyone other than you Trusted Contacts.
In the past, Viber has been blocked in a number of countries including Saudi Arabia, Iran, China, Bangladesh, North Korea, UAE, Morocco, and Malaysia. More recently, many of these countries have eased the ban on the app.
PaulB64 said: "The astrology Lock Screen" - surely you meant the astronomy Lock Screen :DAstrology is that weird belief that somehow the position of stars an planets somehow influence your life.and that's precisely why Apple has designed and put so much thought into that "astrology" lock screen. It is there to add that metaphysical dimension that was missing from your life, tell you why your girlfriend dumped you, precisely when you are going to die and why you got into that nasty car accident on Friday the 13th. It's all there for a reason so check it out. Before you snicker download it and give it a try, suddenly the whole universe will start making sense again.
A red lock, meanwhile, comes up if a trusted user does not pass re-authentication at his/her end. This could be because a device has changed, or because someone is trying to access the data via a man-in-the-middle attack, Viber notes, meaning that users need to re-authenticate for security and encryption to come back into effect.
You can have custom lockscreen messages show up on Mac. There are various third-party apps which allow you to add custom lock screen messages in your macOS. However, you can do so without downloading any app.
Mac custom messages have enough space for informative lock screen messages without any word limit. The message itself can be anything: a message to return your stolen Mac to you or any information for guest users.
Step #3. Now you are General tab. Click on the lock icon from the bottom. If you have set up a locked screen password, you need to enter the password to be able to make changes.
To change this, you will need to click on the User icon and then Select Users & Groups Preferences at the bottom of the drop-down menu. Click on the lock in the lower-left corner of the Users & Groups window to make any changes and enter your password. Click on Login Options from the Left panel and then choose from the Pull down Menu to the right of the Show fast user switching menu setting. Uncheck the box if you do not want to show it.
You have several choices when it comes to how you would like your date and time to be displayed on the Menu bar. Click on the time icon and then choose Open Date & Time Preferences. You can display the time as analog with just a tiny clock icon without the date. This can be hard to read though so you can also use the 12-hour digital clock without seconds or AM/PM details. You can also choose whether to add the day of the week or not, thus giving you more space in the Menu Bar.
